One of my favourite places to go when I am home is westwood lake. I love the 5km hike around the lake. Its a mostly shaded splendor where you feel completely engulfed by nature and yet in the middle of a city.
We went there for a day of paddling and fishing and had an absolute blast. I was on my board and toured the whole lake, while robert fished his heart out. He had some incredible luck and it was the best fishing we had the whole trip. We catch and release and he was getting so much it made the sport so exciting.
I even had to paddle back to land and get a camera!
